Anthony Kelly can paint you a picture with words.  He is an artist, and his craft is songwriting.

The last decade had Anthony Kelly as the front-man of the award winning county band, Shifty Morgan.  Gaining valuable stage experience as both a musician and singer, Anthony’s talent was recognized by the Canadian Country Music industry, earning the band a CCMA award nomination in 2004 for Independent Group of the Year.

2004 also celebrated Anthony’s talent as a songwriter, when he received in invitation to appear on the elite panel at the CCMA Songwriter Cafe.

Branching from his songwriting success, Anthony began co-writing with many up-and-coming and established artists and songwriters.  In 2005, along with co-writers Marny Duncan-Cary and Brian Kelly, he was awarded the SCMA Song of the Year for “Because I Want To”, recorded and released by singer Marny Duncan-Cary.
